This page is dedicated to the writing of students from Cesar Chavez Elementary’s weekly after-school writing club, located in the Back of the Yards neighborhood of Chicago, led by teaching artist Rachel Javellana of Urban Gateways. The group started in the fall of 2007. The page is updated with new posts every Wednesday.
